Lauren Voss, BSc, CSEP-CEP

laurenLauren obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Physiology from the University of Calgary in 2014. During her undergraduate degree she had the opportunity to work with high performance athletes with the Canadian Sport Institute-Calgary, the Dinos athletics department, and Peak Power Sport Development. Lauren also worked as a volunteer and practicum student at the Thrive Centre where she had the opportunity to assist with an exercise study for head and neck cancer patients. Since becoming a personal trainer in 2013, Lauren has taught fitness classes to residence students, continued to work with cancer patients, and has helped to facilitate weight loss programming. Lauren became a Certified Exercise Physiologist in 2015 and is currently completing a Master’s of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Lethbridge. Lauren is following her passion for health promotion and researching how to reduce sedentary behaviour in assisted living facilities.
